Marcel eyes 40pc growth

The local electronics and electrical home appliances manufacturer ‘Marcel’ has set a target of bagging 40 per cent growth in its business in the next year.
The company’s authority concerned made the remark at the “Marcel Distributor Conference-2015” at its factory at Chandra in Gazipur on Saturday.
The slogan of this year’s conference was ‘Let’s go ahead together.’ A total of 300 distributors of Marcel took part in the day-long conference.
R.B Group Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi and Managing Director SM Shamsul Alam inaugurated the Distributor Conference-2015.
The Group’s Chief Coordinator of Marketing Eva Rizwana presided over the conference while Director Tahmina Afrose, Executive Directors SM Zahid Hasan (Policy, HRM and Admin Head), Humayun Kabir (PR and Media), Nazrul Islam Sarkar (Foreign Trade Monitoring), Ashraful Ambia (Sourcing Engineering), Marcel Marketing Heads Mosharraf Hossain Razib and Shamim Al Mamun, Marcel Brand Ambassador film star Amin Khan, among others, were present at the event.
During the conference, Marcel rewarded 20 distributors for their outstanding performance. The function was also colored with cultural programme.
Witnessing the present growth trend of Marcel, RB Group Chairman SM Nururl Alam Rezvi said it would turn into the country’s premier electronics brand within a couple of years.
