UNB, Jhenidah :
Police recovered the body of a man from a pond at Boalia village in Moheshpur upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Abul Hossain, 35, son of Lal Miah, a resident of the village.
Locals spotted Abul’s body floating in the pond at noon and informed police, said Shahidul Islam Shahin, officer-in-charge of Moheshpur Police Station.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital Morgue for an autopsy.
Victim’s family members said Abul had gone missing three days ago.
