Police recovered the body of a man from a hotel room at Girja Mohalla in the city here yesterday morning.
The deceased was Safikul Islam Badol, 40, son of Ahammad Ali, a resident of Chhoto Laxmipur under Muladi upazila of the district.
Being informed, police recovered the body after breaking the door of the room at about 10 am and sent it to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue, said officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Thana Shakhawat Hossain.
A case was filed in this connection.
