State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan on Sunday urged all irrespective of their party affiliation to extend cooperation to the ruling Awami League government to tap the immense potentials of Bangladesh.
“Bangladesh is moving fast under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Ours are no longer a state of bottom-less basket, we’re now one of the developing countries of the world,” he said.
The State Minister said this while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of the five-storey academic building of Sunamganj Poura Degree College as the chief guest. The academic building will be constructed at an estimated cost of Taka 7 crore.
Terming the present government as an education-friendly one, Mannan said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to build ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
