University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) has organized a mango festival for street children. The festival started at the main campus of UITS recently under the banner of “Club for Social Services (CSS)” in participation with students from all departments.
Mangos are distributed periodically among nearly two hundred kids. Dean of the Department of Civil, Dr Md. Afzal Ahmed; Head of Civil Department, Dr Md Safiul Azam; Lecturer of Civil Department, Md. Mohiuddin and Al-Imtiaz has encouraged this different type of festival. Former students of the university were also present on the occasion.
