Mancha firm to realise 6-point demands : Imran

Ganajagoran Mancha spokesman Imran H Sarkar said that the objective of the mancha did not permit its thousands of workers to serve any individual or group of individuals’ interests; but the nation. The mancha would not retire from its ideals, said Imran.
 “The movement was formed to realise the
six-point demand and we will go home only after the demands are met,” said Imran at a rally protesting the government’s dilly dally policy of executing the verdicts handed down to the war criminals and in implementing the six-point demand of the platform at Shahbagh Projonmo Chattar yesterday.
The speakers at the programme asked its activists to resist all kinds of conspiracies against the movement and remain united against it.
Chhatra Front President Janardan Dutta Nantu, Chhatra Federation President Probir Shaha, Biplobi Chhatra Moitri President Faisal Faruq and Chhatra Union General Secretary Lucky Akter addressed the programme, among others.
Meanwhile, another faction of the Ganajagoran Mancha brought out a procession from Shahbagh intersection and marched towards TSC of Dhaka University protesting the attack on activist Shishir Ahmed and demanded punishment to the attackers in the afternoon.
They also demanded the withdrawal of the cases against Jubo League leaders and Mancha activists, which was filed after attack on Ganajagoran Mancha at Shahbagh.
