Manas Chowdhury emerged as the champion in the men’s singles of the Aarong Dairy Federation Cup (Ranking) Table Tennis (TT) Tournament when he beat Khondker Mahbub Billah by 4-1 sets in the final at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium on Thursday.
Rahima Akter became champion in the women’s singles when she defeated Minara Akhter Sharmin by 4-1 sets in the final at the same venue on the same day.
ANH Travels emerged the champions of the teams event of the men’s division while Abahani Limited became the champions of the teams event of the women’s division.
After the final matches, National Sales Manager of Aarong Dairy Saiful Huda distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. Vice-President of Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTTF) Sheikh Md Jahangir Alam was present at the time.
Vice-President of BTTF Shamsul Alam Anu presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
