Manang Marshyangdi Club of Nepal hold defending Champions Chittagong Abahani Limited as the match ended in a 2-2 goal draw in the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Football held on Friday at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong.
Manang Marshyangdi led the first half by 2-1 goals.
In the day’s match, striker Afeez Olawale opened an account for Manang Marshyangdi early in the 3rd minute while he again doubled the margin scoring the second goal for Nepalese side in the 22nd minute.
Defender Nasir Uddin Chowdhury reduced the margin scoring the first goal for Abahani Limited in the 32nd minute and after the resumption striker Augustin Walson restored the parity for Abahani in the 63rd minute.
After the remaining proceeding of the match, both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to convert any of those into a goal.
