The certificate-giving ceremony of the financial management-training course for the officers of Bangladesh Army was held at the Financial Management Academy (FIMA) auditorium in the city recently.
Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh Masud Ahmed attended the programme as the chief guest while Director General of FIMA Muhammad Moslem Uddin presided over it.
In the 10 days’ programme one Colonel and 23 Majors of Bangladesh Army took part in the financial management-training course.
The course provided training on different areas of public financial management. Senior officials of the Audit and Accounts Department and representatives of the Army headquarter attended the programme.
The chief guest said that Bangladesh is developing positively day by day. The competition with army and civil bureaucracy has increased over the years. After finishing the course, the officers will be able to work with satisfaction and responsibility of their stakeholders.
