A man allegedly stabbed his wife and her sister to death in Dhaka’s East Nakhalpara area on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Yeasmin Bonya and her younger sister Simu.
Police arrested Bonya’s husband Roni Mia after the murders, said Sub-inspector Aklima Akter of Tejgaon Industrial Police Station.
The SI said they came to
know about the murders around 3:00pm and recovered the bodies from a house in Samiti Bazar area.
The police officer said Roni, a rickshaw puller, killed them following a family dispute.
