A man was stabbed to death by a gang of unidentified miscreants at Mughdapara in the capital on Thursday dawn.
The deceased has been identified as Shahidul Islam, 40, police said.
Shaidul’s brother Anwar said when his brother went out from his residence for a personal work, some unidentified miscreants stabbed him indiscriminately. They left him severely injured on the road at Manda under Mugdapara PS at around 3:00am.
He added that Shahidul was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and
Hospital (DMCH) and died under treatment at 4:00am.
The DMCH’s Police Outpost In-charge Mosharaf Hossain confirmed the news.
