A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his nephews over land dispute at Godardhor village in Madhukhali upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Fakir, 55 of the village.
Abdul Motaleb Mridha, Chairman of Raipur union, said Abdul Fakir and his two nephews-Mafiz Fakir and Hafiz Fakir—sons of Ramjan Fakir had been at loggerheads over the ownership of a piece of land.
As a sequel to the enmity, Abdul Fakir locked into an altercation with his nephews in the morning, leading to a scuffle between the two sides.
At one stage, Mafiz and Hafiz stabbed Abdul Fakir with sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured.
