A man was killed by a running train at Joar Sahara near Kuril Biswa Road on Saturday morning.
The victim has been identified as Mohammad Firoz Dhali (32), son of
Ratan Dhali, from Muladi upazila in the district of Barisal.
He was a marketing representative of Banglalink and came to Dhaka the previous day to meet senior officials for official purposes.
The train hit him while he was walking beside the railway line unmindfully with his cell phone he was conversing. He was reportedly killed on the spot.
Family sources said, the namaj-e janaja of the deceased was held at Mirpur Navy Colony Mosque yesterday evening. He will be buried in his village home today afternoon.
