A man was killed and two others were injured as the gas cylinder of a pickup exploded at a CNG refuelling station in Masterbari area of Bhaluka upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Kobad Hossain, 40, a worker of Purbasha CNG Station.
Police said the gas cylinder of the pickup went off with a big bang around 4pm when gas was being filled in it, leaving a worker dead on the spot and the driver and helper of the vehicle injured.
The inured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said police super of the district Mainul Haq.
