A man was killed in a bus accident in the city’s Kallyanpur area on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Rafiqul Islam, 35, an officer of Islamic Foundation, and inhabitant of Rangpur district, policed said.
Quoting the witnesses, Mirpur Police Station’s Sub-Inspector
Habibur Rahman said that Rafiqul was crushed when he was crossing the road near Kallaynpur Bus Stand around 6:30am. He died on the spot.
The body had been sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for an autopsy, the police official said.
No case has been filed in this connection, the SI said.
