A man was stabbed to death and three others were injured by a an evil man in Ashulia early Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Babul, 30. The injured Mahbubur Rahman, his wife Asma Begum and daughter Meherun were admitted to Dhaka Medical College
and Hospital (DMCH) in a critical condition, Police said.
Ashulia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohsinul Kazi said, the miscreant named Rasel entered the house of the victim’s cousin Mahbubur Rahman at Narashinghapur Bangla Bazar village in Ashulia around 2.30am and tried to steal valuables. Rasel stabbed Babul, as he tried to resist him, leaving him dead on the spot.”
Rassel also stabbed Mahbubb, Asma and Meherun when they tried to save Babul, the Police official said.
A murder case was filed against Rasel with the police station, the OC said.
“We are hunting for Rasel to do justice,” he said.
The body was handed over to the family members of the deceased after postmortem at DMCH.
