A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his brother-in-law over land dispute at Daripara village in Sadar upazila on Thursday.
Quoting local people police said Abdul Hye, 55 and his brother-in-law Ashraf Ali, had been at loggerheads over the ownership of a piece of land.
At ones stage of altercation over the issue, Ashraf Ali hit Abdul Hye near his house with a sharp weapon around 6 am, leaving him critically injured. Later, he was rushed to Sherpur District Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
