A cement-laden trawler has sunk in Dhaleshwari River near Munshiganj town, killing one labourer.

Police have recovered the body from the river as it floated up. Muktarpur River Outpost’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Mosharraf Hossain said the accident happened on Dhaleshwari River near Muktarpur in early hours of Saturday.
Quoting the witnesses the SI said, the trawler was anchored at the jetty for loading cements.
After around one thousand sacks of cement were loaded, it suddenly overturned and sank, he said.
