A worker was killed and two others sustained burn injuries in an explosion at a tyre repair factory in the city’s Shyampur area on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Nasir, 35, a worker of Panama Tyre and Rubber Factory in Alibahar area.

room, said the incident took place around 9:53 am when an air compressor of the factory went off with a big bang, leaving three on-duty workers injured.
On information, three firefighting units went there and took the injured to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
