Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug trader with 2,110 pieces of yaba tablets, 1.3 kg ganja and 21 bottles of phensidyl from Joynagar area in Cumilla Sadar Dakshin upazila here on Thursday.
The detainee was identified as Nur Mohammod, 30, a resident of the same area.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area at around 1pm and arrested Nur Mohammod with the drugs, said company commander of RAB-11 Major Talukder Nasmus Shakib.
A case was filed with Cumilla Sadar Dakshin police station in this connection.
