Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man from Tarash of Sirajganj district in possession of 3.6 kg of cannabis (ganja).
A team of RAB-12, led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj, arrested Zahurul Islam, son of late Akbar Ali of Charkushabari Khamar Para at Saguna Union in Tarash upazila, along with cannabis during a raid at his house on Wednesday night.
The accused has been handed over to Tarash Police Station after filing a case under Section 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016.
