Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a man along with 10 lakh Indian rupee from Gatipara border area inSadarUpazila yesterday afternoon.
The arrestee is Abdul Samad, 40, son of Habibur Rahman of Goyra village in Benapole.
Lt. Colonel Ariful Haque, commanding officer of 49 BGB Battalion, said tipped-off a team of BGB conducted a drive in Gatipara border area and arrested Abdul alon g with the Rupees.
The arrestee was handed over to Benapole Port Police Station, he added.
