BSS, Dhaka :Armed Police Battalion (APBn) and Custom Officials arrested a youth with 38 gold bars worth about Taka 2 crore 30 lakh from the Green Channel area of Hazrat Shahjalal ® International Airport this noon. Assistant Commissioner of Airport Customs Ruhul Amin told BSS that the arrestee was identified as Md Riajul Haque, 36, who landed here from Saudi Arabia by SV Airlines (SV-808) at about 2 pm. “A team of customs officials seized 38 gold bars weighing 10 tolas each after searching his luggage at the Green Channel area of the airport,” he added. He was handed over to the concern police station.
