Police in a drive arrested a murder accused from Fatullah area in the city on Monday noon.
The arrestee was identified as Al-Amin, son of late Ahellah Sardar of Kotailbagh area of Fatullah.
Fatulla Model Police Inspector (Investigation) Shah Jalal said that on the basis of secret information, police arrested Al-Amin from the area and sent him for interrogation.
A murder case was filed against him with the police station on Friday night around 10:30pm.
Earlier, on March 29, housewife Rima was killed by her husband Al-Amin and went missing lifting a 1.5 years-old-child, Nahid.
After three-days, hearing the sound of baby’s crying and bad odor of the compose body, neighbor discovered the body and informed the police, locals said.
On information, police recovered the body form the house at Kotailbagh.
The deceased was identified as Rima, 22, daughter of Rutab Sheikh of west Sadhpara village of Pabna district Sadar.
