Police arrested a man at Badambagicha in Sylhet on Monday on charge of selling onions at Tk 120 a kg after he had bought them from a local dealer of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh.
The arrested is Shyamal Barman, 40, of Mohanganj in Netrakona.
Police arrested Shyamal after rescuing him from the hands of local residents who confined him for selling onions at Tk 120 a kg after he had bought two sacks of them at Tk 45 a kg from the dealer, said police.
