An unidentified man, aged about 40, was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College Hospital Saturday night, minutes after he was found hacked by unidentified assailants near High Court area in the capital.
The man was putting on a black T-shirt, black sweater, maroon trousers and black shoes.
DMCH police outpost acting in-charge sub-inspector Abdul Khan told the media that a rickshaw-van puller Abdur Rahman found the man on the roadside near the High Court at about 9:30am and whisked off him to DMCH while he had been bleeding abundantly.

He said that the body bore several marks of hacking in different parts of the body.
