Police recovered the body of a man with his hands and legs tied-up from Kuchpur area adjacent to Satkhira bypass road in the town on Monday.
The deceased was identified Mukul Hossain, 45, of Bakal Islampur area of Satkhira town.
Locals informed police when they saw a body lying on the road.
Satkhira sadar police station officer-in-charge Mostafiqur Rahman said they recovered the body of Mukul and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Mukul was wanted in more than 30 theft cases filed with sadar police station, the OC said.
