UNB, Keraniganj :
Police recovered the slit-throat body of a man from the backyard of Ambagicha Mohila Degree College under South Keraniganj Police Station on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Lal Mia, 30, a Leguna driver and son of Kalu Mia of Ambagicha area in Keraniganj.
Family sources said Lal Mia remained missing since Wednesday after he went out of home for his usual work.
Locals found the body of Lal Mia in the area around 7am and informed police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Mitford hospital for autopsy.
Jamaluddin Mir, officer in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station said previous enmity might be the reason behind the murder.
