UNB, Comilla :
Police recovered a body of a man from a canal in Bankerbazar area of Meghna upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Amir Hossain, a trawler driver, son of Abu Hanif, a resident of Islampur village in Chalidanga union.
Locals spotted Amir’s body in the canal in the morning and informed police, said A S M Shamsuddin, officer-in-charge of Meghna Police Station.
Later, police recovered the body.
The family members said that Amir did not return home after going out from house on Sunday night.
