A man died after being electrocuted at Doripara Barobari village in Sadar upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Nazrul Islam, 35, a resident of the aforesaid village. His son and brother were also injured as they tried to save him.
Police said Nazrul Islam was electrocuted at his residence while charging battery of his auto rickshaw. He died on the spot. Injured people are now undergoing treatment at Zila Adhunik Hospital.
