An old man named Nur Mohammad Shaikh (70) of village Zaria-Maitkumr within Lokpur Union under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat met his tragic end on Sunday noon when he was electrocuted in his own residence.
The locals said, on the day the supply of electricity to his residence was stopped from the morning due to the leakage found in his electricity service line. At noon when the ill-fated old man tried to repair the leakage of the of the service line he was, somehow, electrocuted.
