A man died of heat-stroke in the city’s Mugda area on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Montaz Uddin (50), a security guard of a building in the area and he hailed from Gaibandha district.
Rakib Uddin, a neighbour of the deceased said, Montaz Uddin was watering the flower plants on the roof of the building at about 11.00 am. Suddenly he fell down on the floor and lost sense. He was first taken to a local hospital and condition deteriorating he was moved to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), where doctors declared him dead.
Duty doctor Amzad said, the man died of heat stroke.
Sub-Inspector of DMCH Police Outpost M. Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to the reporters.
