A man died after falling from the 4th floor of a five-storey building in Noiarhat area of Chittagong city on Wednesday.
The deceased Mohammad Hossain, 32, — of Bhujpur in Fatikchhari upazila of the district — used to work as a caretaker of the building.
Hossain fell down from the balcony of the floor while he was checking the water pipeline of the building after getting on the railing, said Golam Newaz, a sub-inspector of EPZ Police Station.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 12:00pm, said Nayek Hamidur Rahman of CMCH Police Camp.
