A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at New Circular Road in the capital’s Malibagh area early Saturday.
Locals spotted the hanging body of Ajhar Ali, 50, hailing from Naglapara village in Delduar upazila in Tangail district and a guard of ‘The United Construction Company’ around 7am and informed police, said Abdul Baten, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station.
Police later recovered the body.The reason behind the suicide could not be known yet.
