A young man allegedly committed suicide jumping before a running train at Chatmohar Railway Station in Chatmohar upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sirajul Islam, son of Amzad Hossain of Borabaria area of Atgharia upazila.
Masum Ali, master of the railway station, said Sirajul leapt in front of Dhaka-bound ‘Silk City Express’ around 10am and died on the spot.
