A man burnt in an explosion three days ago at a toilet of a shopping centre in Malibagh has died while on treatment.
Bashir Ahmed, 58, succumbed to his injuries around 7am Sunday at the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital’s (DMCH) burns unit.
Rampura Police Station’s Inspector Md Alamgir Hossain said an explosion happened while Bashir went to smoke in the toilet.
He was taken to the DMCH while in a critical condition, said Hossain.
