A man was beaten to death by some miscreants at Digirpar area in Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj on Friday night.
The victim was identified as Rishi Dus (35) son of Ram Prashed Das in Rishipara under Digripar union of Bajitpur upazila.
Bajitpur Police Station Officer-In-Charge (OC) Md Khaliur Rahman told the New Nationafter we receiving the information, police rushed to the spot and recovered dead body. The body was sent to Kishoreganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection with Bajtipur Police Station.
