Noted actor and play director Mamunur Rashid and popular TV actress-model Jenny have performed together in a daily soap for the first time. Title of the serial is Nil Nagorik, which story was written by Rupantor. Masud Mohiuddin is giving direction of the serial.
In the story of the serial it will be shown that to find out her brother’s killer Shyama met a scientist named DJ (Dr Jamshed). To find out the killer main story of the serial Nil Nagorik will continue. Mamunur Rashid is acting in role of DJ (Dr Jamshed), while Jenny is acting in role of Shyama in the serial.
While talking about the serial Mamunur Rashid told this correspondent, “I have been acting in role of a scientist in this serial. Story concept of Rupantor is really nice. Therefore, Masud Mohiuddin is a talented director. I am enjoying working with him. Jenny is also acting well. I am praying her most.”
Jenny earlier worked in several faction plays under direction of noted directors like Mamunur Rashid and SA Haque Alik. While talking about her feelings to work with Mamunur Rashid actress Jenny said, “Mamunur Rashid is a renowned actor. It is really task for me to comment about his acting. But I can say that actors can learn many things from him about acting.”
Now Nil Nagorik is being aired on Asian TV from every Sunday to Thursday at 9:00pm, director Masud Mohiuddin said.
Meanwhile, with the presence of family members aqdh between Jenny and Tanvir Khan was held recently. Jenny informed that within short time their wedding ceremony to be held.
On the other hand, last week Mamunur Rashid’s directed a 13-epiosde serial titled Altur Cycle Jatra is being aired on Bangladesh Television (BTV).
However, Mamunur Rashid acted and Noim Imtiaz Neyamul directed a serial titled Bakshobondhi will go on air soon, Mamunur Rashid said.
