National Film Award winner actress Zakia Bari Mamo has been acting in challenging roles with good stories for last few years. In fact, she did not see to work in typical story based works. Despite passing 12 years in her acting career Mamo is still very much eager to act in exceptional roles. She wanted to know from the viewers and her fans in which roles they want to see her on the screen. As a part of its continuation, Mamo posted a question in this regard on the wall of her Facebook page on Monday night. She wrote, “In which story and character, viewers and my fans want to see me acting on the screen? Seriously”
Mamo received more than hundred replies from her fans and journalists in this regard. Journalist Daud Hossain Rony wanted to see her in role of Vidya Balan of film Kahani, noted actress Shilpi Sarkar Apu to see her in role of a helpless Bengali woman, play director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon to see her in role of Lota of drama serial Kancher Putul, singer Lopa to see her in role of Labonno of Shesher Kobita, director Topu Khan in role of Begum Jaan, lyricist Anurup Aich in role of action lady of commercial movie and actor Rawnak Hasan to see her in different colourful roles. However, a person named Nobi Murad wanted to see her in roles of Rani Sarkar, Rawshan Jamil and Ferdousi Mazumder, Sangeeta Paul to see her like the role of Priyanka Chopra of film Barfi! and Tanveer Khan to see her in role of a lady don.
Mamo also gave replies. She said, “If I did not post this query on my Facebook page I could not know viewers and my fans have such interest about me. They want to see me in various roles which are really inspiration to me. I am very much choosy in selection of story and from now I will deeply think about my roles before acting to honour their respects because I have come into this position only for them. I hope in future I will act in good story based works.”
