Today is the birthday of National Film Award winner actress Zakia Bari Mamo. She does not keep any shooting schedule on this day. In fact, she gives time to her mother on this day of the year. She believes only for her mother she came in this world, so she tries to give time to her mother. She also tries to give time to her son Udvas on this day. She also believes for her son she became mother. Mamo does not attend any TV show on this day. In fact, she wants to give time to her family.
Till yesterday, Mamo was engaged with shooting. She took part in shooting of Sardar Rokon-directed play titled Katan Saree, which will be aired on RTV at 8:00pm on December 27. Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Jovan, among others, were her co-actors in the play.
While talking about acting in the play Mamo told this correspondent, “I will celebrate my birthday like other days. But this day is only for me. I always try to pass the day by own way. I always pass the day with my mother and my son. It is really a special time for me on my birthday. I give thanks to director Sardar Rokon and my co-actor Jovan to celebrate on the set of the play. Sardar Rokon should get appreciation to make such a nice play.”
Mamo also informed that she has already finished shooting of Anjan Aich-directed movie Agamikal.
According to Mamo, she is optimistic about this film. Mamo-starrer last released movie was Raihan Rafi’s Dohon. She got appreciation for her acting in film Altabanu. She has also finished shooting of NTV’s ongoing serial Ghorey Bairey, directed by Nazrul Islam Raju.
