Today is the birthday of National Film Award winner actress Zakia Bari Mamo. Though she has engagement with her shooting schedule but Mamo will meet her mother Ayesha Akhter today. Despite having more busy times she will surely meet her mom today.
While talking in this regard Mamo told this correspondent, “Today I was born. My mother became mom on this day. For this reason, despite having any engagement I will meet my mom today. I want to pass sometimes with my mother. When I realize my existence in this world I cannot regret her. I love my mom so much.”
Mamo passed her childhood in Brahmanbaria. She was brought up there. She was student of Surjomukhi Kindergarten. Jhumon, Epu, Shoma, Nisha were her school friends. Mamo’s father bought a cake from Dhaka’s Purbani Hotel for her and a festive mood was prevail during that time to cut the cake in her residence. It was one of the memorable things in Mamo’s life. Now she misses those days.
Mamo said, “In fact, there is individual beauty of each time in life. We have to miss the old days’ memories forever.”
Secured the first class first position in masters examination in Drama and Dramatics Department of Jahangirnagar University Mamo always likes to introduce herself as an actress. Yesterday she has finished shooting of Sahel Sumon’s faction play Pen Friend. Niloy acted against her in the play.
Mamo informed that she is also acting in Tanim Rahman Angshu’s movie Swapnobari. In the beginning of New Year she will start to take part in shooting against Nirob in new movie Bhalobeshe Tor Hobo. Therefore, in January, she will give announcement of her another movie. Now she is acting in Shihab Shain’s serial Lipstick and Ferdous Hasan Rana’s serial Maya.
