Zakia Bari Mamo is a versatile actress of present generation. Few days ago, she was seen to work in romantic story based dramas. Due to time span, she broke herself in different roles. To act in different challenging roles, she has already established herself as a versatile actress. For this reason, now directors are showing their keen interests to take Mamo in their experimental works. Mamo acted in such a versatile role in Masum Reza scripted and Goutam Koiree directed drama serial Grihogolpo. For the first time, an eight-episode serial has been made which story portrayed different activities of the homemakers including their delights, sorrows and struggles. The National Film Award winner actress Mamo played outstandingly well in the role of a homemaker in the serial, which first episode will be aired on Channel i at 7:45pm on June 15.
Mamo informed that she got legendary actress Sharmili Ahmed, noted actor Manosh Bandyopadhyay, among others as her co-actor in the serial.
While talking about Mamo’s performance in role of homemaker in the serial actress Sharmili Ahmed said, “Mamo acts well at all. In role of homemaker, she acted superb. I am very much optimistic about acting in this serial.” Manosh Bandyopadhyay said, “Mamo is really a good actress. She acts really well. While acting in role of a homemaker she blended with the role nicely. In some scenes, she acted outstandingly well that I was impressed to see her acting in the serial. I believe viewers will enjoy her acting.”
Mamo got the National Film Award for acting in Tauquir Ahmed’s Daruchini Dwip. She also got appreciation to act in movies Prem Korbo Tomar Sathe, Chhuye Dile Mon, Altabanu, Dohon and Swapner Ghor.
