Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Now-a-day, there are some directors who started giving direction before taking necessary preparation. But there are also some directors who most of the time depend on camerapersons during shooting. They somehow manage producers while making any TV play, telefilm or serial. As a result, question is raised about the quality of the works. Monon Asad is absolutely different for others. Monon Asad worked with Afzal Hossain, Masum Aziz, Gazi Jahangir, Mir Sabbir, SM Shahin, Shakhwat Al Mamun, Nader Chowdhury, M Shakhwat Hossain, GM Saikat, Rizwan Khan, among others, as their assistant and later chief assistant director for 14 years. This time Monon Asad made a play titled Priyo Protipokkho. Prashun Rahman wrote story of the play. Already shooting of the play was wrapped up in the city’s Uttara area recently to cast Zakia Bari Mamo and Naim as lead actors. While talking about the play actress Zakia Bari Mamo told this correspondent, “I got Monon as assistant or chief assistant director many times. He has dedication to his works. For this reason, he has started his career as a director after taking necessary preparations. I wish his success. His first work became nice. Story of the play was really nice. I and Naim tried to make it a good work overall. Now viewers will give their judgments.”
