National Film Award winner actress Jakia Bari Mamo paired up with promising TV actor Jovan for third time on the screen in Sardar Rokon directed a drama titled Tui Theke Tumi. Produced by Md Aynul Islam Chanchal Mehrab wrote story of the play. Shooting of the play has already completed in different locations in the capital’s Uttara area recently, said its director Sardar Rokon.
Rokon also said that story of this play is slightly different from contemporary story based plays. But it is obviously a romantic story based play. Earlier under Rokon’s direction Mamo and Jovan worked together in plays Abegi Megh-er Bhetor and Chandkonnya.
While talking about acting in the play Mamo told this correspondent, “As a director, Sardar Rokon is doing well now. He is trying make good story based plays. Under his direction I have already acted in several plays. After telecasting those plays I got positive response from all. I believe viewers will like the play Tui Theke Tumi. Jovan is acting well now. In fact, I am very much optimistic about this play.”
Jovan said, “It is no doubt that Mamo is a proven talented actress of the country of present time. I really enjoy working with her. Earlier I worked with her for several times. We have better understanding in case of working together. I hope it will become a viewers’ choice play.”
It is noted that three years ago, Mamo first paired up with Jovan in Chayanika Chowdhury’s a play. Sardar Rokon also informed that with Mamo he has made more two plays where Mamo paired up with Nayeem (Mon Ghuri) and Apurba (Roder Moddhye Rode).
Mamo acted last released movie was Dahon. Jovan yet not acted in any movie.
