Ekushey Padak winner noted actor,
playwright and director Abul Hayat
has made a special drama titled Ekjon Sustho Manusher Shesh Chithi to air on Channel i. Rabeya Khatun wrote story
of the drama, while Abul Hayat has scripted and also gave direction of it. Shooting of the drama took place in different locations in the capital’s Uttara area on April 4 and 5. Iresh Zaker
and Jakia Bari Mamo played two
important roles in this drama.
Abul Hayat said, “Earlier Mamo acted in my written and directed drama, Cancer. Then I wanted to make more dramas casting her. Due to mismatch, Mamo couldn’t get the scope to work under my direction. For this drama Mamo has matched her schedule to work. Mamo acts well. She has always intention to portray her role properly. Iresh for the first time worked under my direction in this drama. He also could not get the opportunity to work under my direction. I took his schedule earlier for this drama. Few days ago, he lost his grandmother. However, he took part
in shooting of this drama from own responsibility. I am hopeful about this drama.” While talking about acting in this drama, Iresh Zaker said, “Earlier, I had experience to work under Hayat Uncle. But I could not get scope to work under his direction. While working under his direction I always remembered my father’s face. I felt I was working my father during shooting time.
I really went 10 to 15 years ago during that time.” Iresh also said that from April 18 he is expecting to take part in shooting of Gias Uddin Selim’s movie Kajol Rekha. On the other hand, Mamo acted and Khijir Hayat Khan directed movie Ora Shatjon has already finished in Kolkata, Mamo said.
