Maldives Football team made a goalless draw with Sri Lanka Football team in their Group-B match of the SAFF Suzuki Cup Championship at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Maldives gained one point from one match,
while Sri Lanka gained one point from two outings.
Earlier, Sri Lanka lost to India by two goals to nil in their first match at the same venue on September 5.
By virtue of yesterday’s draw, India confirmed their semi-final berth.
Maldives will face India in their last Group-B match at the same venue tomorrow. The match starts at 7.00 pm.
