Malaysian Minister for International Trade and Industry Mustapa Mohamed will arrive here on January 12 on a three-day visit looking for ways to expand trade ties between the two countries.
Malaysian High Commissioner in Dhaka Norlin Othman said this when she met Commerce
Minister Tofail Ahmed at the latter’s office on Monday. The Malaysian Minister will have talks with the Commerce Minister on January 13 and discuss ways to expand Bangladesh’s export to the Malaysian market. During the meeting with Tofail, the Malaysian envoy discussed various bilateral issues, including trade and investment between the two countries.
The Commerce Minister briefed the Malaysian envoy about the investment facilities that Bangladesh offers to foreign investors.
