Malaysian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Amir Farid Abu Hasan called on Chattogram City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin at latter’s Tiger Pass office chamber on Wednesday .
During the courtesy call they discussed the bilateral issues of Bangladesh and Malaysia including health, education, tourism and cultural sectors . City Mayor congratulated the visiting diplomat for coming in CCC office . The visiting diplomat said Bangladesh is a real friend of Malaysia and Malaysia keen to develop the socio-economic conditions of the country.
City Mayor requested the Malaysia to invest in city development projects, tourisim sector and power sector in a large way.
Among others chief executive officer Md. Shamsudoha, Personal secretary of Mayor Abul Hashem, city planner Rezaul Karim, vice chairman of PHP Group Md. Mohsin were present during the courtesy call. City Mayor presented a crest on behal f of the corporation to Malaysian diplomat, CCC sorces said.
