Malaysia to recruit five lakh BD workers

Malaysia is going to recruit some five lakh overseas jobseekers from Bangladesh this year, said Industry Minister Amir Hossain Amu.
“It will improve the relations of two countries as well as boost the economy”, said the minister while addressing at the official launching of Air Asia Airlines at a city hotel on Thursday.
Addressing as the special guest, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashed Khan Menon called upon the private airlines to ensure quality service for providing hassle-free journey of the air passengers.
High Commissioner of Malasia to Dhaka Norlin Binti Othman stressed for the improvement of connectivity between the two countries to attain win-win situation.
Aireen Omar, Chief Executive Officer of the Kuala Lumpur based airline said the working people who visit Malaysia from Bangladesh suffer from in-flight nervousness as they find no Bangladeshi among the crew members.
With a view to let them have more easy and happy journey on the way to and from Malaysia the popular budget airline AirAsia will recruit Bangladeshi crews for Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur flights, said Aireen Omar.
