The government of Malaysia on Tuesday launched the Immigration Security Clearance (ISC) for Bangladeshi migrants seeking jobs in Malaysia.
The ISC was launched in a city hotel in the capital through an agreement singed between VFS Global and S5 Biotech.
Home Minister of Malaysia Dr Ahmad Zahid Bin Hamidi was present at the agreement signing programme while Regional Chief Executive Officer of VFS Global Murali Raghavan gave welcome speech.
The officials of Malaysia government said, the ISC is the key security step to be implemented on migrant workers before any work application process such as application for Visa and calling Visa can begin.
Dr Ahmad Zahid Bin Hamidi stated “The biotech based ISC is the first security check that must be carried out before any work application process can begin”.
